Subject: A supplement book to go with the Nature Studies of Vol. 1

I just picked up a simple workbook with lots of reading in by Rod and Staff Publishers, Inc. It is called Patterns of Nature Grade 2, but could be used for others too.

Yesterday, we did the lesson on what are leaves, roots, seeds, ect. Well in this I found a lesson on it, questions, to ask, and it even mention about doing a chart like Sharon says. Since it was around $5.00, I decided it would be good to refer too and read on other topics.

Like I know Animal tracks are coming up and it has a little lesson on that. It is very much nature book. It covers The Seasons, seeds, weeds, trees, plants, animals, birds, stars, moon, sun ,weather, water, insects, pond life, ect.

Here is their phone number to get a catalog. 606-522-4348 They are located in Kentucky. They don't have a website. Their is a store that does sell their products close to me. So there maybe a store that has it too.
