If you love antiques, you would love this. This general store was run by a little old lady who started the business in the 1930's and kept it in business until the mid 1990's. She was in her 90's when she finally closed shop. She was quite famous in the area because she never changed the store over the years and if things didn't sell, they just sat on the shelves until her store was full of many brand new antiques. We have tons of clothes from the 50's and 60's, old school books, medicines, foods, cleaning products... My daughter and I have been wearing adorable capris from when they were in style the first time. It is definitely a walk down memory lane, but it's a lot of work and very messy. Dust can really accumulate in a closed up store over many years. She also kept everything including every letter, receipt, egg carton... so you have to really dig through sometimes to find interesting items. My daughter loves reading all the old cards and letters she received.

Happy Homeschooling!
