Subject: making the transition in FL

The public school year is complete here in Seminole County. I filled out the form to start homeschooling. We told the school board we would be starting our (first) school year on June 17, though I believe we will be starting this Monday. One question though, do I still need to go to the public school they used to attend and sign them out or something? Will they give me their records? And do their records tell me exactly what they have already learned, since the Sunstate Standards are sssoooooo vague? Oops, sorry, that's more than one question.
Thanks a bunch!
God Bless,
Anita
