It's a book of ideas that can be used with any curriculum to make learning fun. It includes games (board, card, active, and travel) that can be used to review information or to introduce new information. It has creative center ideas (similar to learning centers but geared for home). It has book report ideas, field trips (and how to make the most of them), collections, and more.

I'm a games oriented person. I love thinking of games and use them a lot in homeschool as well as in children's church. I know a lot of people would like to play games, but they don't necessarily think of them or how to use them. That's what this is for. It has games like indoor baseball (we play a lot) that can be used for anything from spelling words to math facts to Bible trivia.

I think it's a fun book that's the kind of book you keep handy to refer to any time you feel like school is getting in a rut or else the kids are just wired and you're having a hard time getting them to sit still, but at the same time you don't want to abandon learning.

Hope that helps!
Sharon
