Carmen,

I was looking forward to the People and Places in Bible Times, but right now the market is so flooded with unit studies that I just can't justify bringing out another one. It is about half way finished, and can be finished fairly quickly when needed, but I just don't feel the time is right for it now.

As for Volumes 1 and 2, each week is separate, but related. If you were going to switch things around, you could easily do six weeks unit switches, but it would be more complicated to switch individual weeks because they do build upon each other sometimes. People have switched around units for various reasons, and had no problems with it.

Each week is different, but most lessons are hands-on. The sample lesson plans on the website are pretty typical of the rest of the lessons.

You could easily school year round since it's set up in 6 week units. You could take breaks between each unit.

It would not be difficult to do Volume 2 for 2nd grade with the exception of language. The language is likely too difficult for a 2nd grader. Other than that, it could work just fine.

Happy Homeschooling!
Sharon
