Today when I got to the barn and after I said hello to my horses I saw James, he was training this gorgeous thoroughbred, and doing a very good job to, may I add. I said hello and asked him outright if he was willing to breed Than'g to Jazz, he hasn't told me yes or no yet, but if he will just leave a message on this board I will e-mail Becky with the info.
I rode Bedazz today, doing dressage. When your horse and you communicate perfectly it is the most wonderfull feeling. That is what happened today, These times just lasted a few minutes, but those few minutes were worth it. He was floating around the arena in beautiful collected and extended trots and canters, when I cued him to two-track he waltzed diagonally across the ring. Wow!
I didn't ride Dove today. He seems to have a sore leg, so I iced it and will watch it for signs of more trouble. This leg has given me trouble before, he had an injury when he was 2. His former owner broke him When Dove was just 18 months old. This damaged his legs, so I have to be very careful now, but because of his talent I keep him around.
I left the barn trying to keep that feeling I got riding Bedazz today, but the good things don't last long. Horses take my mind off the troubles in life. When I leave the barn I feel refreshed and ready to face another day. I love Horses!
