I walked into the barn this morning and just stopped and smeeled the scent of horses. Jazz, as usual, was whinnying and pawing, wanting his feed. I went and petted everybody, then went to the feed room and mixed up their feed. I left the feed in front of their stalls, out of reach of course, and filled their water buckets. Dove's bucket hadn't been touched, I will watch him for signs of sickness. After everybody was watered I moved them from their stalls and tied them outside, giving them each their hay. Leaving them to eat I went back in the barn and mucked out the stalls. I noted Dove's manure, so I would see if something was wrong inside his belly. After cleaning and making the day beds I poured the grain in each stall, then brought the horses back inside.Dove just dosen't seem right.I check them one last time, then leave.
