Subject: Olive Garden's Spaghetti delle Rocca

1 pound spaghetti
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 cup washed,dried and quartered button mushrooms
1 small yellow onion,diced
2 pounds cherry tomatoes,cut in half
1/2 cup pitted black kalamata olives
1/2 cup pitted green olives
2 teaspoons capers,rinsed
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Grated Parmesan cheese to taste
Fresh leaf basil for garnish

1.Cook the spaghetti according to package directions; drain.

2.Meanwhile,heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the
garlic,
mushrooms and onion.Cook, stirring,for 1 minute(do not brown).

3.Add the tomatoes,olives,capers,basil,parsley,salt and pepper
flakes.
Cook,stirring frequently,for 10 minutes.

4.In a large bowl,combine tomato mixture and spaghetti while both are
hot.
Sprinkle with cheese and garnish with basil.
