Subject: Granny's Chicken and Dressing

My granny passed on to me the love of cooking...Almost every Sunday we had Chicken and Dressing with the meal.I don't believe mine will ever be as good and tasty as granny's was but I want to share it..

1 fryer cut up

Salt and Pepper

Sage

1 large Yellow Onion

Water

pan Cornbread + left over Biscuits(can be home made or canned)heels of lightbread and bread

Celery chopped

Boiled Eggs

Boil Chicken in water til done...cool and debone,saute onion in fat.In large mixing bowl..crumble bread,add chicken,onion,seasonings,broth from cooked chicken,boiled eggs,celery.Put in an appropriate size baking dish.Cook at 350 degrees til done.

Ingredient amount varies on how many you are cooking for.
