Subject: Asian Crunch Salad

Head of lettuce,chopped into bit size pieces
4 green onions sliced
4 oz.salted sunflower seeds
8 oz.toasted blanched,slivered almonds*
1 small can rice noodles or chow mein noodles

Dressing:

6 Tablespoons rice wine vinegar
4 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 teasppon salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
Place in container with lid Shake to combine ingredients. Do not chill.


Combine salad ingredients.Add dressing and serve immediately.The salad will wilt,so only toss what you need. For entree salad,add grilled steak chicken or shrimp.


*To toast,microwave on high 5-8 minutes in glass pie pan, stirring frequently.Or place in skillet over medium heat.*
