昨日，维京唱片的音乐总监姚谦给媒体发来公开信，正式对外宣布赵薇成为维京唱片第一个签约的内地歌手。在信中，姚谦介绍说，与赵薇的合作虽然是很久前被讨论的事，但因为有许多合约上的细节需要沟通才迟迟没有对外宣布，直到上周完成合约的签署，才迫不及待把这个好消息公之于众，而在合约签署之前，他们已经先行开展了制作工作，目前已完成了所有编曲和赵薇的配唱部分，现在正进行编曲的修整与最后的混音合成，不出意外的话，专辑将在１１月中旬发行。

赵薇的新专辑已敲定《飘》作为名称，其中共包含１０首曲子，其中姚谦也破例在一个专辑中写了一半的歌词，“实在是因为认识赵薇后有很多的感动和感触，她比我认为的更单纯，更孩子气地信任别人，更感性地面对戏剧、音乐，对于生活、世界、自己、爱情、朋友、明天，她也有着跟自己年龄相仿女子般的期待与梦想。”说到整张专辑的风格定位，姚谦表示，“我们希望作出一个细腻与诚恳的音乐作品。虽然赵薇在录音期间遇上了一些波折和挑战，更如一个受曲解的孩子般安静地惊愕着，但我仍然要代她感谢出道至今一直支持和陪伴她的朋友与影迷，使她依然对生活和事业充满信心。”
