前陣子捲入打人事件的「小燕子」趙薇，昨天證實已加盟維京唱片，國語新專輯「飄」已經錄製完成，預計11月發行，屆時維京將盡力安排她來台宣傳。

維京總經理姚謙年初即和趙薇接觸、簽約並進行錄音，但他一直保密，日前以親筆信的方式向大陸媒體宣布雙方已在上周簽約，趙薇成為維京唱片第一位大陸歌手。趙薇嫂嫂兼經紀人陳蓉說，一直有不少公司和趙薇洽談唱片約，考慮拍戲工作繁忙，目前只簽了兩張唱片的合約。

趙薇近年因「日本軍旗裝事件」、「涉嫌唆使打孕婦事件」，惹來麻煩不斷，但維京經紀部主管王貞妮說，維京相信趙薇，「她承受著很多事，成名早，被以放大鏡檢視，她又不替自己辯解，但她絕對不是惹是非的人。」

趙薇將參加中央電視台在上海的中秋節晚會，顯示官方力挺的態度。曾一手捧紅李玟、蕭亞軒的姚謙在信中說：「錄音期間，趙薇遇上了一些波折與挑選，她如一個受曲解的孩子般，安靜地驚愕著，著實讓我與家人和朋友擔心了好一陣子。」他親自為趙薇的新專輯寫詞，取名「飄」，是與她的心路歷程有關，據說也是因為她的唱腔近似王菲。

趙薇在1999年曾在BMG發行「Swal-low」和「愛情大魔咒」專輯，還來台宣傳，2001年又為瓊瑤唱過電視劇原聲帶「情深深雨濛濛」與「最後一次分手」。外界多以為趙薇演優於歌，但王貞妮說：「你們以為她的唱片不成功，還是賣了20萬張，不過她已經28歲了，離小燕子很遠了，成熟的女孩應該唱成熟的歌了。」
