Subject: Riding Galveston

I brush him really well then I pick his hooves and put on his saddle,saddlepad and his bridle. I lead him out of his stall to ride.

Dressage: I do dressage with Galveston. He listened very well and did the course very good. I give him a pat and do the course one more time. I could rate myself coming 3rd or 2nd.

Show Jumping: I take him over the jumps which were 3 and 4ft high and set up into a course. I jump oxers, cross rails, double single and triple poles and I practice jumps set close together. He behaved well.

After riding I lead him into a washstall. I untack him, hose his legs, back and shoulders. I give him a carrot and a pat then I leave. I return with a bucket of hay, sweet feed and stud mix mixed altogether. I then leave and come back with a bucket of water. He eats happily while I clean out his stall. When I was done I put all my stuff away and I put his fly sheet on and I turn him out into his paddock. he grazes with his friends.
