Subject: so real these voices in my head
In reply to: Serra 's message, "Re: just three miles from the rest stop" on 17:03:54 05/22/05 Sun

"It's a simple question; calm down. I can't be inquisitive about you and him? It's not like I asked why or anything..." he mutters, just barely loud enough for her to hear. There's a tone of jealously attached to his voice as well, but here's hoping she won't pick it up (and that Rodney doesn't have excellent, super-human hearing and is listneing from outside!). We may be so lucky.

He's also completely ignoring the sarcastic tone of voice. You spend a few years with Serra, you kind of get used to it. Or ignore it, whatever works best with you. At the call remark, Scott raises an eyebrow. Oh, how I'd love to get inside your head one day and figure you out...

"Uh-huh. And what was I meant to say if he picked up the phone? 'Oh, hi, is Serra there? Why? Well, I kinda made out with her once and I had a thing for her. Still really do, actucally. So, yeah, that's what I want to talk about. How're you?'. No, thankyou" Well, Serra, there's your stupid answer. In just under three sentences, Scott has 1) sounded like a complete moron (that wasn't surprising) and 2) admitted he still has major feelings for you.

Oh. Shit. And as it dawns on him, he currently wants to melt into the ground and die.
