One more day here at home and then we are off to Bonnaroo! I sure hope things go well and I would love to see everyone at the show.
Man I can feel the nervous jitters and my mussels tightening up like some weird track star getting ready to sprint!
We are pulling out at 8:30 am on tomorrow morning and dropping the kids off that we aint taking in Blountville TN. then it's on to bonnaroo, stopping every hour at a rest stop to check the bus, scratch my ass, pick my nose and pull up my socks.
So you may see us at a rest stop or on the road. If you see me on the side of the road, spread out in the classic felony arrest pose with a patrol car behind me you may want to stop and vouch for my character.
We will be going slow, not because something is wrong but because the speed control and engine governor is set to 45 mph.
We will be at wal mart sometime before dark (I hope).

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.
Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. And I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon.
