I live about 5 hours away and we are covered up in poison ivy. We know all the tricks to avioding it and curing it and you can do your self a big favor by bringing some Palmolive dish wasing soap, just the kind you wash dishes with. Now it has to be Palmolive (I don't know why). You will be able to wash your cooking stuff and it prevents AND CURES poison ivy faster than anything bought at rite aid drugs plus it is cheeper too!
But don't take my word for it, i just live in a place that is wall to wall poison ivy and have tried everything. Hell, look it up on the web.
