Personally, I would get right in line and sit there. You will still probably have a few hours' wait, but at least you'll be in the front of that horrendous line of traffic. The city of Manchester claims that they are trying to prevent such a large traffic tie-up this year, but with the way it's set up I can't see how they could do much. It's a big farm right off of a rural country road, and they limit the access to the site to check cars that are coming in. After the show is over there are multiple ways to exit (if you're quick and look for them), but before the show, they try to control traffic as much as possible. So, like I said, I would just get right in line. Then, once you're in, you're in for good and you can start to relax. Sitting in traffic isn't so bad (plenty of partying going on), but it doesn't beat getting into the venue early by any means. Good luck bro! Maybe I'll see ya down there!
