You have absolutely nothing to worry about...The only reason they run checks in the parking lot is for nitrous tanks and weapons. Beyond that it doesnt matter. It was extremely open everywhere around camps. You never saw security except for by the stages and the cops are all on horseback. pretty much they are there to make sure nobody gets hurt or there are fights or any of the stuff that happens at less friendly concerts. They were very cool and the crowd was very cool. I have a feeling the crowd will never be as cool as it was the first year, but i imagine things should pretty much be the same this year as far as security goes.
