I haven't been having problems posting here, but all of the sudden my interactive map stopped following my vamp around, so I have to move it every couple steps :( I tried downloading it again, but it's still not working.

Nobody's Alleyway is working, sweetums. Raven Black made some coding changes which make the map not work. Highly annoying, but I understand why he changed the stuff he did. Basically, the only thing we can do is wait and see if the mapmaker can fix up the map to work with the new coding. Only time will tell.

Also, if you read the news update, there's now a Hall of Severance. So, uh, you could disown me, although not easily. It would cost you 50,000 coins + 1,000 BP. Apparently, I could disown any of you for a mere 1 AP. But, ummm... I don't wanna! Don't leave me! *Cries* I doooon't waaaannaaa beeee oooolllddd and looooooonely! *Regains her composure.*

Anyway, I really don't quite comprehend why anyone would want to do such a thing. I think it seems silly. But I feel reasonably reassured that no one in this family would do something like that.

BTW, to learn more about this and other stuff, you might consider joining the Lost in Shadows LJ community. I know you and Jade have LJs, so you could definitely do it. The address is lost_in_shadows.livejournal.com

Also, I got a LJ for Tanyada. It's strictly IC, though, so remember that. (If you don't know what I mean, check out the Journal's user info.)

That's unfortunate. Will it still update the guilds on the map? I would be extremely sad if I had to find those stupid things on my own.

Don't worry, Mama. I'll never leave you. :D

I bet the reason it's so hard to disown a parent is b/c then lots of people would go there and all of the sudden ::poof:: they're a Master Vampire. But I don't know why it'd be so cheap to disown your kid. If you disown the kid does it become a Master Vampire?

I assume the guilds will continue to be updated. The guild locations are updated by people, so there shouldn't be any reason for that to stop working. People are still using the map, and just moving themselves manually.

Thank you, love. I promise not to leave you either! :-)

I'm assuming so, although I don't know. And I don't particularly intend to experiment with that.
Umm... actually, just SS-ed someone I know who got axed by her sire (very sad, that was; she didn't want to be disowned). She now appears as a master vampire. *Shakes head sadly* Some 'pires are so selfish...

Mama, I gots a favor to ask. I'm at my human mama's house and I don't have all of my bookmarks and I don't have my map and Terrence is trying to get Theivery 2. Can you tell me where it's located so I can just aim for it?

What does it matter who is your sire or your child? I gues the people who are into role playing might care about that more. I just think it'd be cool to be a Master Vampire. But that's only b/c I think the name sounds cool. ;o)

Ask away darling... that's what I'm here for. (That, and robbing the bejeebers out of everyone near Travellers' 1 ;-) )
Thieves 2 is currently at Malaise and 58th. That's not too far off from the Polyhymnia Station (which is at Malachite and 50th), so if you're not too near there, I'd try to use the transit stations. You can find a map at www.silveracorncircle.com/city-map.htm It sometimes has guild locations, but they're not always accurate. But, you can use it to click on two building squares and it'll tell you how far apart they are. It takes a sec to load, though.

Yeah, I think it sounds kind of coolish, too, but I also like the chance to be associated by blood with one of the more powerful 'pires in the city. And, of course, I love having my friends as my childer. It definitely is more important for people who RP, but a lot of sires and childer are close in general, and just do stuff for each other like we do. (Of course, to satisfy my wanna-be-a-master-vamp urge, I just created another 'pire... master vamp, no childer, no sire. She just wanders the city in search of her monkeys. A little batty, that one!)

Well, have fun with your human mama... be nice to her for Mother's Day! See ya!

Thanks, Mama!

If I stumble on a full bank I like to troll around robbing everyone then entering with my Surprise having self and depositing my ill-begotten booty.

My alter-ego, Nomar, got Thievery 2 the other day and proptly robbed someone of 1600 coins!!!

That ruled...

Apparently word has come from the Interactive Map's creator that the changes in coding made by RB have rendered the map permanently un-interactive. Unless the creator wants to hack RB, which he doesn't. :-(

It still updates the guilds, though, and does plenty of other things... you've just got to remember to move yourself.
