Overall, your story is excellent.

The homosexual part of this story is well and tastefully done*, and completely fits with Irons' persona as presented in the series. (Sorry, I am only familiar with the series.)

There was only a time or two I had to back up and re-read in order to make sure about whom you referred; specifically, during the end part, where Ian kneels before Irons.

*I say this from the viewpoint of a hetero female with strong Christian leanings.
