He points to a sapling 15 feet away, then leans foward, stepping with the oppisite foot of his throwing arm, and hurling, doing his best to keep his knife arm fairly straight. (All his movements were slightly exagerated in an attempt to let her see what he was doing better.) It hits, dead center, and the tree wobbles a bit. "Ok. The trick is not to bend at the elbow too much." Pauses. "Why don't you start with that," he says, indicating a closer, bigger oak.
