A figure cloaked in forest green galloped by noiselessly on a horse of white, no tack the stallion bore, for his master was of elven blood. His hooves seemed to float above the ground because no sound came from them, but they were going fairly fast. Then the two stopped, the young woman's cloak snapped in the wind, moonlight fell across them, reflecting off by some sort of enchantment, making them seem translucent. The elf looked about, her golden hair shimmering, piercing the darkness about her. The trees seemed to call out to her, and she was at home. Whisperings spreading about her, talking, warning, discussing her coming they seemed to. Were the trees talking? Or was it just the wind?
