 Ronnie stares at Hali, “You’re obviously lying, and it was undoubtedly a wolf I saw, not Briar.” She looks at Briar, “God, you must known this forest on the back of your hand. I couldn’t get here without being lost.” She turns her head to the pathway she used, but uncomfortable whether to use it or not. “I don’t like roaming around a forest-like jungle at night. Do you happen to know a shortcut? Or is this the only way back…”
