She had to be to work that morning, she glanced over at the clock and saw she was already thirty minutes late. She didn’t know if she should wake Fizz or just leave. Leaving would be rude right? But waking somebody up with morning breath would be even worse. So she slipped out of his arms and into the bathroom. She took a shower brushed her teeth and put on some blue jeans sneakers and a pink spaghetti strap shirt. Then she pulled her hair up in a ponytail and woke Fizz up. Clara- (shaking him) Fizz …Fizz (shaking him harder) Fizz!! DRUEX! She knew if anyone called that name he’d stand at attention. Fizz- (jumps up) What! Clara- (laughs) you still hate that name Fizz- since the first day I heard it (notices she’s dressed) you got plans this morning? Clara- just work …I’m already an hour late Fizz- oh sorry Clara- it’s cool …my boss is cool Fizz- well that’s good Clara- well maybe I’ll see you before you go back home Fizz- hopefully Clara kisses him on the cheek grabs her bag and leaves. At Work Chelle- wha chu doin late? Clara- I was tired remember Chelle- yeah like I can’t tell when you’re lying Clara- (laughs) I’ll tell you after I talk to Mr. Jones Chelle- aiight Clara- (walks to Jerome’s office) Jerome? Jerome- come in Clara- I’m sorry I’m late – Jerome- it’s okay …Chelle told me you broke up with your boyfriend and you were having a hard time Clara- oh (thinking- Chelle and her big mouth) well I called the two doctors from home and I got our first choice to play the part Jerome- good! Clara- but only if Halle co-stars Jerome- WHAT!! Doesn’t he know we’re low budget? Clara- I tried to explain that to him …but then he was like well I’m not a low budget actor and he’s doing us a favor, so since I was about to cuss him out I hung up the phone and called Halle Jerome- whoo close one …I know how you can get Clara- yeah …Halle said long as I’m writing her script she’s down for negotiation …her agent should be calling today Jerome- good work!! What would we do without you Clara- and I came up with a new movie idea and I finished the first 30 episodes of the sitcom Monday Jerome- perfect …what’s the new movie idea? Clara- it’s a tribute to Aaliyah, at first I was gonna call it “Fallen Angel” and make it all Aaliyah but then I thought of something that would be less painful …the title is “The one I Gave My Heart to” and it’s gonna be about heartbreak instead of Aaliyah but I think we can put a clip of an Aaliyah concert in there or sumthin …just for memorial Jerome- Genius …get your team started on that ASAP Clara- oh k …thanks (turns away to leave) Jerome- ah Clara (she turns around) are you free for lunch? Clara- (thinking- Oh No! y couldn’t Chelle keep her mouth shut!) my sister’s in town so I don’t know …but if she doesn’t have any plans then I guess so Jerome- okay …get back with me on that Clara- I will (leaves) Chelle! Chelle- yes Clara- why did you tell Jerome all my business? Chelle- y did you come to work all late? Clara- u first Chelle- cuz he asked me why you were so down Clara- well it was none of his business Chelle- whatever …y u late? Clara- cuz …I was at Fizz’s apartment Chelle- uuww gurl …doing what? Clara- about to have sex with him Chelle- I want ALL the details Clara- I backed out …I couldn’t …he’s about to get married …and he told me instead of seeing his fiancé’s face he sees mine when she’s in her wedding dress and at rehearsal Chelle- oh snap gurl …he can’t let go Clara- I think he can now …at least he’s gonna be happy …but he told me his gurl cheated on him Chelle- dang …maybe you were revenge or an even token Clara- no …I know Fizz better than that …I’m not an even token …cuz she can never have my place …she’s an even token for …u know who Chelle- you think so? Clara- yeah …Fizz didn’t expect me to find happiness so soon Chelle- does he know yall broke up? Clara- nope …that’s y he’s getting married …I didn’t want to tell him after I found out he was getting married …I didn’t want him to break it off for me …because …I don’t think I can be with Fizz again Chelle- gurl get off yo high horse you ain’t all that Clara- I know …but that’s the truth …Fizz knows he ain’t gon find anybody else like me …the only reason he broke up with me is because he thought he could come back Chelle- well it kinda makes sense when you think about it …like Luda …his short azz don forgot I was with him before he had “hoes in different area codes” Clara- AHHHH true true …I think that’s how my brother’s gonna be when he finally gets his lil group out tha basement …least he ain’t sellin no more and ish though Chelle- (rolls her eyes but plays it off) m m mm m speakin of yo brother Clara- (laughs) whatever …that broke nigga …but speaking of my brother links to Murphy Lee’s fine self Chelle- (laughs) he aiight It's more where that came from Visit Classsic Miss Clara for more of my stories!
