Hold up wait a minute
I know he�s not walking my way
Hurry up, quick, I gotta think of what imma say
Well what if he talks first?
I�m quite sure his words would quench my thirst
I mean, have you ever seen anything so beautiful in your life
This nigga is so cool and sharp as a knife
I mean look at the way he walks
I can�t wait til he gets here so I can hear him talk
I mean look at his lips
They make me wish I was the cup from which he sips
Look at his eyes
I feel like he can look right through me and see my insides
What a wonderful creation
I�m so glad he was put in my nation
It�s hard to believe that we breathe the same air
At least that�s one thing that we share
So I�m checkin him out as he walks my way
I�m feelin his braids he�s wearing today
I�m checkin his pants that move freely on his legs
Just for a minute of his time I�d beg
As he gets closer I can actually hear my heart beat
I make sure I�m not sweating and I still look neat
So when he got close enough for me to know he was walking to me
I closed my eyes took a deep breath and was amazed at what I had to see
A smile
If he isn�t perfect he�s right under it
I mean Heaven must be his kiss
As he opens his mouth for the words to come out
My heart sings and jumps for his amount
When he speaks he sings
Which brings me down to my knees
To thank God for what he has made
Because to him the thanks should be paid
As he�s speaking my head is in a daze
I�m still standing so I must be brave
I know this might sound crazy
The way I�m reacting and all
But for him I can�t help it, I�m bound to fall
As he closes his conversation
And I continue my observation
I smile to myself, happy I didn�t faint
Because for another chance like this would be too long to wait
So I�ll remember this moment as the years go by
How this man blessed my day with a simple �hi�
