West Field, that’s where I live at, West Field High, that’s where I go to school now. But before I was living in a neighborhood since forever, where I knew everyone like family, and everyone knew me. I couldn’t imagine living any where else. That’s why I could have ripped my step-mothers head off when she convinced my father we should moved to Cali. I don’t know how she did it, but that B*itch is going to pay.

I couldn’t stand her when she moved in the first time. A year after mommy died. I was confused on how my father could have fallen in love with someone so fast just one mommy had died, which lead me to the conclusion that he was having an affair. The first thing Marty (my step mother) did was repaint my bedroom walls that my mother had did. My mother had painted my room with Black and Blue ‘cause those were my favorite colors at 9. Marty didn’t feel it was appropriate for a young girl to have black in blue walls, so she painted them pink. I cried for weeks after she did that. Marty trough away anything that reminder her of my ma. I was only able to keep bits and pieces. I still have my moms pearl necklace, and matching earrings, and her drawing book. My mom was an artist. As much as my mommy loved to draw, I loved to sing. When my mommy stopped drawing, I stopped singing.

Jimmy (my father) is a punk. He does whatever Marty tells him to do. I bet if she told him to pull out each of his finger nails one by one, he probably wouldn’t even hesitate to do so. He makes me sick. How could he put some woman in front of his own daughter?

In Cali

Jimmy: Where finally here Marty. How do you like the house?

Marty: Jim, you could have done better!!!

Jimmy: I’m sorry, I didn’t mean too.

Marty: Save it Jim! We have no other choice now!

Tiana: I think da’ house is fine.

Marty: What did I tell you ‘bout staying out of grown folks business.

Tiana: Whateva’.

Jimmy: Don’t use dat’ tone of voice wit’ me young lady!

Tiana: I wasn’t even talkin’ to you.

Marty: Jim, tell your daughter that was very disrespectable.

Tiana: Why don’t you tell me yourself?

Jimmy: Dat’s it, your on punishment. Don’t expect to go anywhere soon.

Tiana: What da’ …. We just got here, and I’m already on punishment. Thanks Marty.

(Marty stepped out of the car and slammed the door)

Jimmy: Now look what you did!

(Jim got out da’ car and slammed the door)

Tiana: Lord, give me strength.

First day of school in California wasn’t to bad. I met some people and whateva’, I even got asked out which is funny cuz’ at my old school, I was always thought as Ms. Negative and was neva asked out. I turned da’ boy down though. He look like a wanna be pimp, and any fake or real pimp always has dem’ stank as* heffas’ dat I don’t have time to mess wit’.

Kris: So how you like dis school?

Tiana: It’s coo’, but yall seem a lil’ to friendly for my taste.

Kris: (laughing like I was making a joke, but I was serious) What you mean by dat’?

Tiana: At my old school, you wouldn’t survive fo’ da’ first 10 seconds. Da’ minute you walk in, some one is hatin’ on your gear, or somethin’ they could find wrong wit’ you, and da’ next thing you know, you in a fight.

Kris: Well…. There are crazy people in every school you go to.

Tiana: If you were being as nice as you were in my school, someone would assume you tryin’ to get somethin’ from them. I was thought of being miss negative at my school, cuz I wasn’t tryin’ to make people think dat’ I wanted get somethin’ from them.

Kris: So who’d you hang wit’.

Tiana: Eveyone, cept’ dem’ cheerleaders. If one wasn’t pregnant, there was another.

Kris: You don’t believe dat’ wit’ all cheerleaders do you?

Tiana: No, just at my old school.

Kris: Good cuz’ I am one. (laughing)

Tiana: (laughing) It would have been funny if I had said dat’ bout all cheerleaders.
Kris: I would have had to stole you!.

Tiana: Child boo’ don’t think about fightin’ me. I could kill somebody! (laughing)

Kris(laughing) Uh-huh whateva.

Tiana: Aight, well I’ll check u lata, cuz my 3rd period class bout’ to start.

Kris: Aight peace.

Tiana: Peace.

I was walkin’ to my 3rd period class and mindin’ my business and when dis’ ugly weave wearin’ hoe gonna come up to me.

Gurl: Have u been talkin’ to my man??!!!

Tiana: Do I even know you???

Gurl: Look, I saw u talkin’ to my man today! Don’t play dumb!

Can I ask yall a question?? Why is it dat’ when these chicken heads find out dat’ their man is cheatin’, they go afta da’ gurl and not da’ man him self. Or should I say da’ so called “man”. Why isn’t she ain’t walkin’ ova to her “man” and her cursin’ him out. Also, what did I tell you, dem pimps and fake pimps always got stank heffas’ around dem. My name is Ms. Tiana Jaya Levine and I DO NOT fight ova’ NO man.

Tiana: Lil’ gurl, I do not have time for these childish games. You need to take dat’ attitude and use it on yo’ “man” if u think he cheatin’ on u. I will admit I was talkin’ to yo’ man because he asked me for my number, but I turned him down, and I suggest you do da’ same.

Gurl: Whateva, just don’t mess wit’ him because….

I walked away from her in da’ middle of what she was sayin’. I didn’t care, why should I? I made my point loud and clear, whateva’ she would say afta dat’ would be stupid.
