Subject: Friday Night At The Fights (FNATF)

S! VMF-215

I met up with VMF-215 Eagle last night (he is a former squad mate of mine). I also met VMF-215 Shadow. Anyway they gave me your site address here so that I could post our FNATF announcements. Some of you may have seen our post in the UBI forums but if not I will repost here. This weeks FNATF is already filled however next weeks FNATF will not be posted this Saturday. Just for clarification this is not a squad vs. squad match. It is first come first server for the first 16 players. If the participation warrants the number of available slots will increase for future sessions. Squad mates will be assigned to the same team. Hope to see you gents join us in the future.

We are pleased to announce that every Friday Night beginning on Oct 21st we are sponsoring "Friday Night At The Fights". Each Friday Night at 9:00 PM EST we will be hosting an entirely objective based mission on our Private Server. We invite any and all who are interested to sign up and participate. We also encourage you to submit your ideas for future sessions. To sign up simply go to our Mission Sign-up Forum and make a post as described below. The forum is located at:

http://vc-81.net/v-web/bulletin/bb/viewforum.php?f=5

Here are the details:

Each Friday Night there will be an Objective Based Mission that will be run on a Private Server. The specifics of the Mission will be posted the week before along with an announcement in the UBI forums inviting players. The map for FNATF will be placed on the server on Thursday morning and the password will be sent to those who have signed up. This is for practice and familiarization. Sides are encouraged to practice together.

A CAG will be assigned for each side. The CAG will be responsible for mediating the coordination of the squad and communication between Sides. The CAG will be given Channel Commander priveleges on the TS server. A player will only be allowed to be the CAG One Time in a 6 week period. This will insure that no one person is dominating the sessions and everyone will get a chance at commanding.

In order to sign up you will need to post the following in the Mission Announcement in our forum:

Call sign

Squad (if applicable)

Email

Side Preference- Axis, Ally, Either

Role Preference- Attack, Fighter, Either

Carrier Qualification Status- You are considered CQ if you can make 3 Consecutive TO & Ldg without mishap. This is not a determining factor for participation as this session is not based on points, it is based on objectives. It will simply let us know what to expect. You will be required to TO from a carrier but there will be a neutral airfield for landing if you cannot land on a carrier

We cannot guarantee that you will be assigned to all or even any of your preferences as we will need to balance the sides.

Rules:

1) No Vulching

2) No Shooting Parachutes

3) Must notify by post if you will not be able to make it. A No-Show without notice and you will not be allowed to sign for the next week. Two no shows and you will be banned.

4) Realism setting will be full switch with speedbar only.

5) No swearing, name calling, racial slurs, or harassment of any kind will be tolerated.

6) No Kill Stealing.

7) First side to obtain the objective is the winner. No stats are kept on the server. This is STRICTLY OBJECTIVE BASED.

8) Only those players that sign-up will be given the password. Password is not to be given to anyone not on the sign up list. If it is found that you have given out the password you will be banned!

9) Intentional Team killing is strictly forbidden. If you kill your team mate by accident apologize and go on. No apology and it will be assumed that the Tk was intentional.

10) A/C are not allowed to T.O. from the Neutral Zone. Anyone caught doing so will be booted from the session. If you land in the Neutral Zone you must restart from your Home Airfield.

Again S! to all of you out there and hope to see you in the not so friendly skies!
