ich möchte mein 760el mit mehr Speicher ausrüsten. Ich besitze jedoch kein Handbuch, daher wende ich mich an Euch. Habe zur Zeit 32Mb und einen Steckplatz frei. Ginge ein 64Mb Modul da noch rein, hab nämlich gesagt bekommen, es würden im 760el nur 32Mb Module laufen, das widerspricht aber doch den 108Mb maximal.
Habe Debain darauf laufen und mit 32Mb lahmt X ganz schön, jedoch ist die CPU auslastung gering, der Laptop swappt halt.
Kann ich beliebige 144pin EDO Module nehmen, oder haben die Hersteller für irgendwelche "Mechanismen" gesorgt um nur bestimmte Riegel zu verwenden.
