Dein Problem kenne ich allzugut. Ich habe das selbe Problem mit meinem neu gekauften Thinkpad 600 aus zweiter Hand. Mittlerweile habe ich herausgefunden, dass tatsächlich das SUPERVISOR-Passwort dafür verantwortlich ist. Auch bei mir lief das Gerät anfänglich ohne Probleme, erst als ich an der Festplatte etwas ändern wollte, begann das Drama. Schau mal unter mein posting bei:

Leider habe ich noch keine zufriedenstellende Lösung gefunden.
