Der Schalter auf 0 verhindert, dass der Akku geladen wird. Nützlich kann das sein, wenn man eigentlich nicht mobil arbeitet, sondern den Akku nur als Stützbatterie verwendet und verhindern will, dass jedesmal ein neuer Ladezyklus einsetzt, wenn er nur etwas entladen ist. Lebensdauer und Kapazität können davon profitieren.
