 Heureka es funktioniert!
Und zwar mit W98SE. Thinkpad Konfigurationsprogramm installieren - PCMCIA auf enable setzten, IRQ 10 stehen lassen. USB Karte installieren. Danach waren alle Einträge im Gerätemanager OK, jedoch war kein Kontakt mit USB- Geräten zu bekommen. Im Gerätemanager habe ich dann unter den USB-Einstellungen den "NEC PCI to USB Enhanced Host Controller" deaktiviert. Dadurch wurde auch der Eintrag
"USB 2.0 Root Hub Device" entfernt. Jetzt waren alle Geräte von Drucker bis Kamera zu installieren. Meine Hardwarekonfiguration siehe Beitrag vorher.
