ein BIOS-Update würde ich NIE ohne den batteriepuffer machen. das risiko, den rechner zu schrotten, nur wegen einem kleinen AC-Dropout ist nicht kalkulierbar.
....und wenn der hamster in der zeit zufällig am kabel nagt. besser batterie irgendwo ausleihen, oder mal nen gebrauchten zulegen ( um 30 -50 euro)
die methode auf dem von przemy angegebenen link verweist ebenfalls deutlichst auf das einzugehende risiko. willst du für win98 upgraden??
