zuerst mit option 3 ALLE partitionen und laufwerke löschen (eventuelle andere formatierungen für NT oder so werden damit eliminiert)...

2.
mit Option 1 eine neue DOS-partition erstellen. Laufwerk C: wird anschliessend mit option 2 als aktive partition festgelegt. solltest du mehrerere laufwerke draus machen wollen, muss mit option 1 natürlich die grösse der jeweiligen partitionen bestimmt werden. ( alle weiteren laufwerke werden als erweiterte DOS-Partitionen festgelegt.)

3.
anschliessend werden, nach neustart und extraktion der startdiskette alle partitionen, also alle laufwerke separat formatiert. dann kannst du win 98 aufspielen
( Mit option 4 bekommst du jerderzeit information über den zustand der partitionen.)

Das CD-ROM besitzt einen um zwei Buchstaben höheren laufwerksbuchstaben als das letzte festplattenlaufwerk.
beispiel: Bei EINEM festplattenlaufwerk c: wäre das CD-ROM mit der startdiskette als Laufwerk e: anzusprechen.. D: ist in diesem falle das virtuelle RAM-laufwerk der startdiskette.
