 Hast Du einen NEUEN Akku erworben (also im Geschäft/vom Händler, mit Rechnung, Garantie, etc.) oder hat Dir jmd. bei z.B. Ebay einen Akku als neu verkauft (aber als Privatverkäufer jedwede Garantie mit Hinweis auf das neue EU-Gesetz abgelehnt)? Ein Softwareproblem sollte dies nicht sein. Wenn der Akku eingelegt ist und das Laptop am Netz betrieben wird, wird der Akku automatisch aufgeladen, unabhängig vom Betriebssystem. Eine Einstellung, die dies unterbindet, ist mir unbekannt. Die Problematik deutet eher auf einen Akku mit verbrauchten Zellen hin, der wird dann nämlich auch nicht mehr geladen, bzw. gar nicht erkannt - wird Deiner den überhaupt identifiziert?
