Da lt. Hersteller aber max 8.1 GB reinpassen, fällt für mich ein Austausch aus, da schon eine 4 GB drin ist. Da das TP aber USB hat, möchte ich eine Platte mittels diesem Anschluß und einem ext. Gehäuse ansteuern. Ist die Begrenzung von 8.1 GB dann aufgehoben, da das Bios die Aufgabe nicht übernimmt sondern das Betriebssystem ? Beabsichtige eine 20 GB Notebookplatte zu beschaffen um an USB anzuschließen. Denke, diese Frage stellt sich auch für Anwender mit PC und begrenzten Plattenvolumen. USB läßt sich ja leicht erweitern.
