mit dem svp hat das normal nix zu tun.. das hatte ich auch schonmal probiert (.. und ich finde, diese BIOS-Passw�rter sind der letzte Dreck).
das svp verhindert nur den zugang zum Config im SetUp und zu den Passwort-Optionen
Tip : ruf mal bei der IBM Hotline an. Die haben eigentlich 'nen vern�nftigen support, der teilweise sogar umsonst ist, gerade was so software-fragen betrifft. so aus der ferne w�sst ich auch net weiter. sind die batterien wieder richtig eingebaut?? hast du es mal mit 'Esc' beim einschalten probiert (wahrscheinlich schon, denk ich) ?
