 Also zum Problem mit dem Screen: das habe ich dann selbst gelöst bekommen; habe meine bootfähige w2k-HDD benutzt, das TP-Utility gestartet und diese Option wieder aktiviert; danach ging alles wieder wie vorher von der Ansicht her, auch mit der neuen HD mit der gescheiterten DOS-Installation.
Die ist jetzt noch der einzige Haken; auf der HD war vorher OS/2 drauf, was den Bootsektor schützt und auch nicht von fdisk löschbar ist; hilft wohl nur noch ein LowLevelFormat, wobei ich das dazugehörige Tool von IBM trotz intensiver Suche nicht finden kann...
