I don't know, what ERR 23 means (these are apparently error-codes supplied from the tests within easy setup), but FRU 60xx indicates, that something's wrong with the HDD 1. The system needs to recognize the disk as master and the function of the drive select pins was reversed with the introduction of HDDs > 1GB, so the drive will probably be recognized as slave. That's the reason why you usually have to cut the pins when upgrading from below 1GB to above 1 GB. The function and necessity of those two wires isn't obvious to me, only Przemy can tell, I never needed them.
