Nachdem mein 770ED das Zeitliche segnete, baute ich die 8GB-Platte in ein 'altes' TP ein. Festplattenkennwort ist kein Problem; nur ein Installieren eines neuen OSes ist nicht möglich. So wie es aussieht, wird ein neuschreiben des MBR nicht erlaubt. Im Bios ist es nicht möglich, daß Schloß zu öffnen. Liegt es vielleicht daran, daß die Biosversion im 770ED eine andere ist, wie in meinem alten TP? Vielleicht ist auch jemand mit einem 770ED bereit, gegen Kostenerstattung die Platte per Post zu empfangen, das PW zu entfernen und mir die Platte wieder zurückzusenden?
