Grundsätzlich ist davon abzuraten, DOS-Treiber unter Win95 zu installieren. Win95 bringt seine eigenen IDE-Treiber mit, welche auch, zumindest bei mir, immer funktionieren.
Nun, ich kenne Deine gesamte Ausstattung nicht. Ist das CD-Rom im Notebook intern und das Diskettenlaufwerk als extern angeschlossen oder das CD-Rom im Selecta Base?

Bei meinem TP war es bisher immer so, daß ich kein IDE-Gerät im Bios bekannt machen mußte, also Einstellungen im Bios unnötig waren.

Welcher Fehler kommt denn, während Du mit einer Win95-Startdiskette das System hochgefährst?
Win95 versucht ja, dem Laufwerk einen Buchstaben zuzuordnen. Kommt dabei schon der Fehler hoch?
