Does anyone know any way to upgrade the SVGA LCD (I have a 760ED) to use the XGA LCD (from the 760XD).

The connectors on the interface cable are keyed oppositely, so I cut off the plastic tabs that were blocking it, and connected the LCD.

While the computer works fine, the LCD does not. It flashes (the cathode comes on), and then turns off.

I've also tried changing my BIOS to the XGA version, but with the exact same result.

Was there a different video card used for the ED and XD?

If replying, please also send to Mark.Piper@tufts.edu
