Hardwareseitg habe ich lediglich die Pins 1-4 gekappt, dann die neue HD unter Höhenausgleich in das 17mm-Gehäuse eingesetzt (da war vorher eine 2.1GB drin). Die Einrichtung war etwas schwierig: obwohl ich unter WIN95b arbeite musste ich unter dem WIN98SE-Setup partitionieren, bevor ich den DM einsetzen konnte. Hibernation funktioniert nicht, es kam sogar zu einem Crash, der sich allerdings relativ problemlos, aber zeitintensiv beheben ließ. Der DM verlangte danach, da er eine Virusbefall vermutete, booten von Diskette und Ausführung der "Advanced Options", was allerdings auf dem TP nicht gelang, Caldera-DOS blieb hängen und ich musste den Vorgang auf dem Untertisch-Computer ausführen. Genau denselben Crash konnte ich beim Einsatz mit dem Dock II reproduzieren, auch hier muss man beim Einsatz des DM beim Dockingvorgang umsichtig und langsam vorgehen.
