 vieleicht könnt ihr mir einen Tip geben ?

Folgendes :

Ich habe mir üer e-bay ein Thinkpad 760XD mit 20x cd-rom (intern) und 720MB FP, sowie 106MB Ram gekauft.
(Grundmodell : 9546x9e)

Ich habe mit "format c:" die Festplatte des Thinkpads gelöscht.
Weil ich es nicht geschafft habe, von CD zu booten (kann im Setup nur Fdd1, fdd1, hdd...usw. auswählen),
habe mir über ebay ein externes IBM Diskettenlaufwerk gekauft.
Das Laufwerk wird als FDD2 erkannt und auch der Test auf evtl. Fehler verlief negativ.
Trotzdem bekomme ich mit dem externen Laufwerk keine Bootdisketten zum laufen, weil er mir immer den Fehler 602 oder I9990305, oder "non system disk or disk error" meldet.
Ich habe mir schon etliche Bootdisketten gebastelt (dos6.22, win95, win98se usw.) aber keine nimmt er an !
Die Bootreihenfolge ist Fdd1, Fdd2, Hdd1. Habe auch schon sämtliche andere Reihenfolgen ausprobiert....Nichts... !!!

Habt ihr diesbezüglich ein Paar Tips für mich ?
Braucht der Thinkpad ein anderes Format auf der Bootdisk (Fat, Fat32, etc) ?
Wäre schön, wenn sich einer mal meldet, ich bin am verzweifeln...
