 Safety first, das darf man IBM nicht vorwerfen. Wenn etwas schief geht, kannst du die Kiste erst recht fortwerfen, so "einfach" wie bei einem Netz-PC bekommst du es nicht repariert. Es gäbe theoretisch noch die Möglichkeit, anderweitig Spannung auf die Kontakte zu geben, ich weiß nicht, ob der Akku-interne Chip immer abgefragt wird.
