Für beide OS ist das Configuration-Utility Voraussetzung. Bisher konnte ich noch nicht herausfinden, wo ich die Dockingstation (DS) 'per Hand' bekanntmachen kann. Da bei mir nur das FDD in der DS verfügbar ist, mußte der Jumper am Brenner auf CS (CableSelect) gesteckt werden. Win98: Mittels Configuration-Utility wird nun 'Dockingstation' ausgewählt, der Standardinterrupt des 2. IDE-Kanals auf 9 gewechselt und die IDE-Einheit in der DS auf 'enabled' gesetzt. Jetzt ein Reboot und der Brenner in der DS sollte erkannt und verfügbar sein. Unter XP: Mittels Configuration-Utility wird nun 'Dockingstation' ausgewählt. Der Interrupt war bei grau unterlegt und nicht veränderbar. Egal. Die IDE-Einheit in der DS wird auf 'enabled' gesetzt und die Fehlerbeldung ignoriert, indem man bestätigt, daß das angezeigte Gerät (PCI.....) disabled wird. Nach einem Reboot wird nun der Brenner, als auch die 2. IDE-Einheit als neues Gerät erkannt und automatisch konfiguriert.
