 Es kann auch einfach sein, dass, wenn das Teil CD-ROMs auch nicht mehr vernünftig lesen kann, das Laufwerk schlicht und einfach nicht mehr in Ordnung ist. Schleichendes Aufgeben deutet auf eine verdreckte Linse hin. Auch die Spurstange kann verschmutzt sein. Dadurch bleibt er gerne hängen.
Das Problem ist mir von HIFI-Laufwerken bekannt und lässt sich mit einer Generalreinigung meistens lösen. Deckel abschrauben und mit Alkohol und Q-Tips vorsichtig reinigen. ( bei CD-Playern benutz ich in der Regel recht respektlos ne alte Zahnbürste für die Spurmechanik. sollte hier nicht zu empfehlen sein)Anschliessend die Spurstange und die Ritzel mit harzfreiem Öl ( Balistol) einölen. Mit Updates hat das nichts zu tun.
