First you have to install a small DOS-Setup by copying the
system files of the WIN 98 start-up disc or using a full DOS-version.
Type SYS C: for copy. restart the computer and then install the CD-Rom Driver for DOS from the IBM support-page.After that you should have access to CD-ROM for installing WIN 98. CD-ROM
Important: To have full access to the THINKPAD-functions under WIN 98 please upgrade the BIOS-version! From the support-page you should also install the Mwave APM Patch for Windows 98 It's o find at the audio-features. important for standby mode!
