 Nun, ich habe das 760er DC-Board untersucht. Ich habe dort nur eine Sicherung gefunden, hmmm...0,25A

Du kannst Deine defekte Sicherung durch gleichwertige ersetzen und hoffen, daß es nur die Sicherung ist, die, wer wei warum, angesprochen hat. Falls ein Hardwarefehler vorliegt, wird diese bestimmt wieder auslösen.

Vorsicht beim Löten von SMD-Bausteinen. Falls keine Erfahrung vorliegt, schlage ich vor woanders erst einmal zu üben :-)

SMD-Sicherungen sind beim Elektronikbedarf, z.B. Conrad zu bekommen. Auf keinen Fall solltest Du mit Flicken anfangen und woanders welche auslösten, denn ohnehin sehen die Bauteile nach so einer Prozedur "unschön" aus.
