Festplattengröße des ThinkPad 760XL. Es würde mich freuen, wenn Ihr mir da weiterhelfen könnt, denn ich komme bei dem Problem derzeit nicht mehr weiter. 1. Frage: Die Festplatte eines ThinkPad 760XL eines Bekannten von mir hat vermutlich den Geist aufgegeben. Es ist eine 2.1 GB-Platte (Original Platte). Das Laptop findet die Festplatte nicht mehr. Die Festplatte ist z.B. im BIOS nicht vorhanden. Von Diskette kann ich noch starten, aber komme natürlich dann nicht auf LW C: rüber. Die Platte macht beim Einschalten noch Lesegeräusche und Laufgeräusche, aber nach dem BIOS erscheint außer dem Cursor nichts mehr. Mehrere Minuten später erscheint dann der Text I9990305. Sonst passiert nichts mehr. Laut Anleitung liegt gemäß des Fehlercodes ein HDD-Fehler vor, den man dem Service melden sollte. Ich habe die Platte jetzt einmal aus diesem extra-Gehäuse ausgebaut, kann aber äußerlich (wie leider erwartet) keine Fehler finden. Hat jemand eine Idee zum reaktivieren dieser Platte? Geht das überhaupt noch? 2. Frage: Kann mir jemand sagen, wie hoch die max. Festplattengröße sein darf, die das ThinkPad 760XL vertragen kann? Ich habe z.B. eine IBM 4,86GB 2,5" HDD mit 9,5mm Bauhöhe Modell: DBCA-204860 4200rpm gefunden und bin mir jetzt nicht sicher ob die Platte im ThinkPad läuft. Die HDD ist gebraucht und kostet 49,00 €.
