OK, ich hab es die ganze Zeit mit nem kaputten Kabel probiert, die LEDs am Adapter und am Switch leuchten jetzt...
Das bringt mich aber nicht wirklich weiter und stellt mich vor ein grunds�tzliches Problem: Wie zum Teufel noch mal baut man unter Win98 ein Netzwerk auf? Sollte nicht bei bestehender Verbindung (wenn die LEDs leuchten ist das ja wohl der Fall) der andere Computer in der Netzwerkumgebung auftauchen? Bei mir kommt immer nur "Netzwerkumgebung konnte nicht durchsucht werden"
Fehlt mir da noch irgendein Protokoll oder so? Werden die nicht alle bei der Einrichtung des Netwerkadapters mit installiert? Fehlt sonst noch irgendeine Software und es ist am Ende doch nicht so einfach, ein NW unter Win98 aufzubauen?
Mit dem Etherjet brauch ich mich im �brigen nicht weiter zu befassen, morgen kommt meine neue Karte...
